The Waves L1 Limiter Challenge

Challenged myself to “mix” a metal song using ONLY Waves L1 on every instrument.

Why would anyone want to do this?

This challenge forces you to think “out of the box.” While doing this Waves L1 challenge, I discovered some CRAZY tricks and workarounds like transforming Waves L1 into a noise gate for drums, guitar and bass distortion, and of course limiting the tracks.

I hope you find this video entertaining and at the same time eye opening as to how versatile a simple limiter can be if you think outside the box.
