Super Simple Home Studio Acoustics Hack

This tutorial shows how big of a difference a desk can make on the acoustics of a home studio.  I really didn’t expect a desk to cause so many problems in my home studio, and I hope just being aware of the options for fixing this will help you make better sounding mixes and masters.

In the video below, I give you 3 different ways to fix primary reflections on your studio desk. For me, there really was only one option to fix this problem – I had to make little mini acoustic panels to my desk.

Also in the video I show you before and after measurements – so you can see for yourself how much this helps. No snake oil here, just real data and simple solutions!
